Thank you cut out card

I like it when I can double my effort. I made this cut out card file and used two tones of cardstock. The design is pretty simple. I like the contrast of purple and grey the colors. I like it when a project goes together quickly.

The cardstock is Recollections. The glitter tape is from Michael's. The brads are from Eyelet Outlet. The ribbon is from the Flower Factory. I am not sure where the flourish came from. I think it is one I traced from an online search. You could use about any design you like there.

Tea light card combo #2

I have another tea light card combo, but this one is different. It was another file share from the MTC forum. Who needs to but files when there are so many awesome freebies? This one is from Ginger.

The stamp is from Michael's. The paper is from Colorbok. The cardstock is Recollections. The card had a ribbon that goes around it to close it on the right side with a bow. The inside is where it gets really fun.
The card holds six tea light candles. I covered it with a vellum sheet. The left side holds a tag for your message or another stamp. I think this file will also make it on my list of favorites for telling someone a special thanks.

Tea light card combo

Here is another of my most favorite files of all time. It was a freebie shared on the MTC forum by Babs. I've had it for a long time now. I try to keep a few of these on hand for thank yous.

One of the great things about the MTC forum is the community of crafters who share their talents and ideas. It is an awesome place for inspiration. With the holiday approaching I like to keep stuff like this one hand. You can stamp the tag and include a special message.

Purse with note cards

Here is the same purse file but and the same little frame. This time I made a little set of note cards to make for the middle with some coordinating envelopes.

I made this set for someone who has that gift of encouraging others. The stamp from two sets I mixed to make the phrase from MyThoughtsExactly. I like how versatile they are that way.
I embellished with a button, a paper flower, and some Michael's Bling on a roll glitter tape. I used Trendy Twine for the handle and the button.

Now let's look at the inside.
I made a set of four note cards for the inside for the person to give as an encouragement to someone else.

They all have a variation of the same frame and pattern. The stamps on these are from Michael's.

I just love the little purse and can see it being one I use often.

Thanks again Darlenemcg and Brigit for sharing the files.

Have a great day,

It's in the bag

I have a fun little project that is just too cute. I have to give a shout out to Darlenemcg at the MTC forum for this cute purse. It cuts super easy and can be used for lots of different things.

I like that the file is all one piece. I added the center frame which a file I got from a freebie card file from Brigit some time ago from Brigit scraps. The flower is a rolled flower from Lettering Delights. I made some little quarter circles for the corners, added some ribbon for a handle, and Wha-la- Add some candy and a stamp and your done. The little rhinestone pieces are from some scraps from a Dazzling Diamond sheet from Buckle Boutique.

The stamp is one I got from Michaels.

I have another one I will post next time. Same file just a different style.

I do, I do

Here's an anniversary card I did my hubby to celebrate our 28 years together!

The paper is from Femme Fatale by Recollections. I found the little rings in a set at Michaels. The ribbon came from there too. The flowers are from some silk flowers I took apart. The rhinestones are from the eyelet outlet.

I hope for another 28 years. <3
